    The Kinks rarely sounded of their time but their album Low Budget is very much of it's era with hints of punk, new wave, disco(!) and stadium rock. After the lacklustre Misfits, it's a definite return to form and at least tied with Sleepwalker as their best album of the Arista era/5(99).
