   May 26,  · The release is titled as "Crucial" & "Prince With Miles Davis" but it's missleading: they never worked together in a studio - 'Crucial' is a Prince solo and 'Can I Play With U?' was sent on tape to Miles Davis (in both instrumental and vocal versions) and he added trumpet to the track. Track 1 is pirated from Miles Davis - Amandla/5(11).

   Dec 19,  · Track 13 is the track "Amandla" from Miles Davis - Amandla. CD has "Made in USA" on it, but tray insert says "Made in E.E.C". Label catalog number printed on CD is "CD", and Matrix / Runout is "CD" See also Prince With Miles Davis - Crucial and Prince With Miles Davis - Crucial.

   Information that accompany bootlegs (especially in the early days) can be quite misleading, as is the case with the Miles davis mention on Crucial. It's the black-market, you gets what you gets. I bought the Crucial CD boot many years ago when it was one of the only studio outtake discs around.

   Crucial (with Miles Davis) I recently found some kind of bootleg tagged as "Prince (with Miles Davis) - Crucial". It has an awesome horn section throughout the record, but I can't tell if it's Miles playing trumpet (there's really not that much), and I seriously doubt it since I read about how few times Miles & Prince actually got together.

   Power Fantastic is the 20th and final track (second of two previously-unreleased tracks) on The B-Sides compilation (included as the third and final disc on The Hits / The B-Sides).. The song was based on a track called Carousel, written by Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman in Before recording Prince came up with a melody and wrote lyrics for the song.
